Well, I'm 13 now, but this video still tells a lot about me.
Fishing!
If you watched the video about me on this page, you know I love to fish. Do you like to fish? If you do, send me a message at

about the type of fish you fish for and what you use to catch them!
There’re lots of different kinds of fishing here in Costa Rica. Of course there’s deep-sea fishing for the big stuff, like tuna. Some grown ups come here to sport fish, and they are looking to catch rooster fish or swordfish or marlin. I prefer to catch fish you can eat, I guess maybe because I can catch them myself. The really big ones I need help bringing in.
Well, you know I love fishing. And that I play bass guitar. I also like to skate board, play basketball, do science experiments with my brothers and build stuff like forts and ramps for doing jumps off with my bike. One thing I really miss not living in the US is being able to play American football. What sports or hobbies do you like to do? Send me an e-mail at

A Cool Moment
I recently had the opportunity to meet and interview one of my nature heroes, Jeff Corwin. Corwin is best known for his Animal Planet Show, The Jeff Corwin Experience.
Interviewing Jeff Corwin was one of the most exciting things in my life…and also one of the scariest. I was really nervous about it because he’s so famous. I’ve interviewed other people, but they haven’t been famous. And this was my first interview where I was sitting down and asking questions like a reporter. But then when I did the interview, everything I wanted to ask him came out perfectly.
Jeff Corwin is cool. He was really nice. He took my questions seriously and seemed like he really wanted to talk to me. After meeting him, I’m an even bigger fan of his! Thanks to our friends, the Seydel Family, in Atlanta for inviting us to their house to meet Jeff!
FROG STARS!
It was a star-studded froggy night when my brothers and I visited top glass frog scientist Brian Kubicki at his research center in Costa Rica's amphibian-rich Turrialba region.
The super-star of the evening was the famous red-eyed tree frog. Ryan tracked him down in the dark by following his croak through the forest! I snapped the photo above as Mr. Froggy sat on his branch.
